Ernst & Young Global Limited, commonly known as Ernst & Young or simply EY, is a multinational professional services network with headquarters in London, United Kingdom. EY is one of the largest professional services networks in the world. Along with Deloitte, KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers, it is considered one of the Big Four accounting firms. It primarily provides assurance (which includes financial audit), tax, consulting and advisory services to its clients. Like many of the larger accounting firms in recent years, EY has expanded into markets adjacent to accounting, including strategy, operations, HR, technology, and financial services consulting.

"The hours are inhumane considering there is not OT pay. The overtime (50-70 hours) can span for several months, even up to half the year. Not a team feel since most people are just there to get the promotions and raises."

"Seniors are so squeezed during busy season that they don't have the time, energy and patience to train a staff to be successful at performing the task assigned. Some senior would expect a staff to perform all the tasks with very little guidance, and gave mean reviews afterwards. As a result, the staff get blamed and could be taken off from engagements. If it happened, staff could be put on engagements totally irrelevant to their service line, and typically those engagements are not the type that anyone would be happy to be on. Also, a significant amount of the staff level work is outsourced to India to save cost and make more money for the partners. Therefore, U.S. staff utilization could be very low, and the staff get blamed again for having low utilization. In busy season, seniors typically work 10 AM to 2 AM everyday for 2 months, and it's not nice to work with someone who has 4-5 hours of sleep."

Cuando una persona del sector bancario hace entrevista a un Especialista en sector de Ciberseguridad. (me parece absurdo) No te explican tus funciones, hablan en general. Y cuando empiezas a trabajar te das cuenta que la oferta de trabajo y el trabajo de verdad no tiene nada que ver. Pero ya no tienes marcha atrás y tienes que aguantar. No recomiendo a nadie. Es perdida de tiempo."

Sai quando entri al lavoro ma non sai quando esci, più di 10 ore al giorno più a volte lavoro a casa nel weekend. Se uno è disposto ad alienarsi totalmente per il lavoro è il posto giusto, se uno ha anche una vita al di fuori del lavoro, sconsigliatissimo! Pro's: My prison sentence at EY Edinburgh office has ended I have a new job now that I am qualified."

They are the cheapest in every sense of the way. People who praised EY are like people who fly budget airlines, not knowing what even economy class is like. They like to work overtime for no reason, approach and method are very inefficient, and surprisingly consistent across continents. One word: RUN."
